Technical Requirements
Hi. My name is Kyle Mackie and I am the Manager, Teaching and Learning Technologies in Open Learning and Educational Support at the University of Guelph. I'm part of a team ready to make your life in cyberspace just a bit easier. Learning a new subject while learning to use your computer and the World Wide Web can be a little overwhelming. While I might not be able to help you out with your Economics project, I can help to ensure that you know what you need to have in a computer system in order to successfully participate in an online course. That's what this section is all about.
What do I need? What computer system is required to be able to participate in a University of Guelph online course?
You are expected to have an understanding of Internet and email basics. You will be navigating and searching the Internet and corresponding with others in your class using web-based conferencing and email
